GUIDERS LEVEL 1 & 2 TRAINING

Guiders level 1 & 2 was held in March 2015. Invitation was sent to all the schools and total 80 adults participated in the training. The theory part of the training was held Male’ for 4 days with sessions on History of Guiding, WAGGGS, uniform and badges, session of all the branches and camping. Enrolment ceremony was held in Male’’. Ms. Zeenaz from Childrens Shelter was the chief guest of the ceremony. In her speech she highghted the noble work done by the guides and she also said she is proud that she was an active member as a child.

The three day exciting camp was held in K. Girifushi. Camp programme has always being the best part of the training where participants get more acquainted and most important, they learn to live in a very different condition then their normal routine. The slept under canvass, experienced the beauty of outdoor camping. During these 3 days they learnt o live with a large group with personal differences. Many activities carried out during the camp include out door challenges’, team building and leadership games. Thy also learned how to pitch and strike a tent along with pioneering
